Travel Gear

I bring some of my travel gear with me wherever I go. Whether it’s a winter or a summer trip, having the basics is pretty useful. Below, I’ve collected some of the best possible items to have with you when travelling abroad. Trust me when I say that investing a little more in your travel gear from the start, will save you a LOT of money in the long run. From tech to photography and lifesaving gadgets, here’s the essential travel gear I use and love!

Luggage and Bags

large suitcase - travel gear

Large Suitcase

All trips start with a good quality suitcase. I love American Tourister and IT Luggage because they both provide lightweight cases with dual compartments to keep all my stuff separate. They also have attached TSA-approved locks, four wheels, and come in a range of colours.

Carry-on Case

Despite owning a quality large suitcase, I tend to simply travel with a carry-on case. This hard case will last you a long time. It has all the same super handy features as the checked luggage bag, making them both the perfect travel gear for any trip.

packing cubes - travel gear

Packing Cubes

Wireless Headphones

I cannot travel without my headphones. They keep me slightly saner during take-offs and landings (I’m quite a nervous flier), and are great for long journeys. I use Airpods as they’re small and portable, and I always end up tangling and breaking my cabled ones.

travel adaptor plug

Universal Plug Adaptor
