Hey, I’m Alice…
I’ve lived in the UK all my life and always loved to tell stories. I discovered my passion for travel in 2016 and 3 years later, Adventures of Alice was born! Since then, I’ve extensively explored Europe and the UK.
Through this blog, I’ll be sharing my personal experiences and recommendations from popular city breaks, to hiking and hidden gems! My goal is to help you get outdoors and show you that every destination has hidden gems, no matter how touristy it appears.
It all began in 2016…
…the year I took my first international trip to Egypt. This was like a wake-up call. Since then, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel all over the world, immerse myself in different cultures, and make lasting memories along the way.

My journey has been a bit of a mixed bag. I pursued English Language and Film in college before embarking on a completely different path and becoming a trained chef. After that, I tried my hand at sales but eventually found my way back to writing – which comes as no surprise since I’ve been writing stories since pre-school!
Throughout my varied career, I’ve learned that creativity is my true calling. Now, as a writer and content creator, I get to combine my love of storytelling with my passion for travel, share my experiences (the good and the bad), and hopefully inspire you to explore the world as well.
who am I?
If I had to describe myself, I’d say I’m curious, passionate, and just a tad obsessive! You know the type – the one who can’t resist a locked door or a hidden passageway!
I’m also the girl who tends to have a million projects on the go at once. Whether it’s a new writing idea, a photography project, or creating a travel itinerary, I always seek out challenges and can’t resist having something new to plan!
When I’m not exploring the world, I’m often busy planning my next big trip (my travel plans often stretch about five years into the future)! In my downtime, I enjoy re-reading the beloved Harry Potter series and snuggling up with my three adorable kitties.
