When it comes to travelling there is SO much to think about! Flights and hotels are just the start, but what about transport to your destination, transport from the airport, airport parking, insurance, spending money, and activities…? How much do all these extras cost? Have you forgotten anything?
Sounds expensive, right? But don’t worry – it doesn’t have to be! You can still travel regularly, stay in great places, and do amazing things without breaking the bank. Here are some of my top tips for affordable travel.

Planning is one of my favourite parts of a trip. I love writing itineraries, discovering hidden gems in a destination, and immersing myself in the local culture. However, there’s a lot that goes into planning the perfect trip.
How do you know where to start? It can be quite overwhelming! But, with a little guidance, planning an unforgettable trip can be a breeze.
Step 4: Travel Gear and Packing Tips
There are so many different tools and travel equipment out there, it can be hard to work out what you need and what you don’t. You can literally travel the world with a backpack, but buying and packing extras can work out pretty pricey.
I always struggle with packing. I’m the worst at convincing myself that I ‘need’ to bring something when I don’t really need it at all! Still, everyone wants to look great and you can still pack light and look stylish.
