Having lived in England all my life, I’ve spent a fair amount of time travelling around London. It’s been a weekend theatre break with my mum, a 2-day shopping trip with my sister; even a romantic anniversary weekend away with my partner. 

Quite often, you need more than just one day in London and for that, you want some of the best hotels. 

There are so many different places to stay in London. From budget hostels to luxury hotels overlooking the Thames, you can find a great hotel stay to suit any budget. But if you’re specifically looking for London hotels with balconies, these are some of my favourite options.

1. London Marriott Hotel Regents Park

Perfect for: Visiting Regent’s Park and London Zoo

Are the balconies usually private or shared? 

The majority of hotels in London with balconies will come with a private balcony. Shared balconies are typically reserved for communal areas as opposed to private hotel rooms.

Is it worth paying extra for a balcony in London?

Personally, I think it is worth paying extra. I love a room with a view and some of the city views over London can be pretty impressive. Plus, balconies usually come with one of the best hotel rooms in the building and many are very luxurious.
